The extraordinary summit on July 16 between Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin marks a phase-shift in history. It is the result of a long, difficult battle, led in no small part by American economist and political opposition leader Lyndon LaRouche over the past 50 years, to create an alignment of interests among nations and cultures as the necessary force to usher in a just, new world economic order freed of geopolitics and offering mutual development to all peoples and nations. It is thus a reflection of the now unstoppable “new paradigm” sweeping over the world.
The Schiller Institute held an extraordinary conference on June 30-July 1 in Bad Soden, Germany, bringing together representatives from 35 different countries to deliberate on the ways to put a definitive end to geopolitics and base international relations on win-win economic cooperation. Contrary to the multitude of other conferences on similar themes, many participants observed, those of the Schiller Institute are unique in that they are focused on finding concrete solutions to the problems and not just palabras. What became clear to all over the course of the two days, its that no solution is possible within the old paradigm – be it with regard to the war danger, the financial collapse, or the migrant crisis.
On July 4, the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine (PSPU), headed by economist Dr. Natalia Vitrenko, won the appeal in its lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice for failing to accept the party’s revised Charter and Bylaws. This refusal to register the party has kept the PSPU from running candidates, and went along with the thuggery and criminality conducted against party members, activities, and property.
On June 14, the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his report on the DOJ and FBI investigation of the use by Hillary Clinton of her personal email account when she was Secretary of State. It confirms that leading officials of both those entities, including Attorney General Loretta Lynch and FBI Director James Comey, acted improperly. And it provides devastating evidence that the investigations against Donald Trump do indeed amount to an ongoing “witch hunt.” Although the IG’s report on Russiagate (the allegations of Russian “meddling” and Trump “collusion” in the 2016 presidential election) has not yet been released, one must assume that same bias was in play, given the significant overlap of those investigating both affairs.
In an article dated June 15, the Chair of the Schiller Institute, Helga Zepp-LaRouche, underscored the stark difference in dynamic between the annual meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the historic summit between President Trump and Chairman Kim in Singapore, and the G7 summit in Canada, with its disunity and exclusionary stance.
The Chairwoman of the International Schiller Institutes Helga Zepp-LaRouche issued an urgent call on June 15 to the heads of state and government of the European Union, titled “History Is Now Being Written in Asia! The EU Summit Must Follow the Example of Singapore!”
In the days since LaRouchePAC released its memo calling on President Trump to end the “special relationship” with the UK and release “All British Spawned Documents” related to the Russiagate witch hunt, a number of articles have been written which reflect the strategy outlined in the LPAC memo.
“The Significance of China’s Belt and Road Initiative for World Economic Development” was the theme of a seminar hosted in Stockholm on May 30 by the Schiller Institute, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, and China Eastern Airlines, with the support of the Embassy of China and the China Cultural Center and in cooperation with the China-Sweden Business Council.
On May 29, just two days after Italian State President Mattarella rejected the list of ministers presented y Prime Minister designate Giuseppe Conte, the chairwoman of MoviSol Liliana Gorini issued a statement under the above title. She wrote:
On May 27, in Rome, the “populist” government put together by M5S and Lega, the two parties that had won the parliamentary elections, was rejected, in what can only be called a cold coup. The coup was executed by State President Mattarella, but the real string-puller is the ECB. Thus, the oh-so-democratic European elite has once again made perfectly clear that if they are not satisfied with the choice of the voters, they will disregard it!
